CURCUMA australasica Cape York Lily

Large dark green pleated leaves that can reach up to 50cm tall. Flowers appear in summer before foliage, then the foliage appears. Makes an excellent cut flower. Height up to 2mt. Plant in full sun or shady position. Also a good container plant. This is the only Curcuma that is native to Australia.

Curcumas become dormant in winter therefore watering should be with held.
