Heliconia latispatha ‘Distans’

Heliconia latispatha ‘Distans’ has spiralling bracts on tall flower spikes with tall glossy leaves. This tropical/subtropical ornamental plant prefers rich well drained soils and part shade to full sun. Grows up to 1.5 – 2m and flowers in late summer.
